An original psychoeducational program for relatives and legal representatives of people with mental disorders is launched

In May 2025, the NGO "PSYCHABILITY" will launch an author's psychoeducational program for relatives of people with mental disorders "Biopsychosocial approach to the treatment and rehabilitation of mental disorders from the group of schizophrenia, schizotypal and delusional disorders"

The authors have prepared 10 meetings, which will cover the following issues:

- the essence and importance of the biopsychosocial model of mental disorders

- symptoms, course and approach to the treatment of mental disorders and prevention of relapse

- a systemic view of the family and the features of communication with a person suffering from a mental disorder

- psychological problems, conflict situations in the family and ways to resolve them

- psychosocial rehabilitation: participation of the family and institutions in restoring independent living

Leaders - experienced specialists with vast practical experience in the rehabilitation of people with mental disorders and their families. More than 25 years of work in the legendary Center for Medical and Social Rehabilitation of the KNP "PSYCHIATRY", hundreds of stories of restoring social activity and returning to a full life:
