Expanding cooperation

Board members Lidia Budyshevska Martynova and Zelenov Kostiantyn met with Andriy Kovalyov. Andriy is an expert partner of Civitta Ukraine on health and social policy and also manages the project “Social Services Reform in Ukraine”.

At the meeting, we agreed to further cooperate to expand opportunities to help Kyiv residents with mental disorders. The first steps we have identified are establishing communication with the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, finding funding, and further developing the Assistant to a Person with a Mental Disorder service.

We would like to remind you that in 2024 we devoted most of our efforts to advocating for the Assistant to a Person with a Mental Disorder service. In 2025, we are continuing our work in this direction, with a focus on the details and practical implementation of the service. We are currently working on writing a service standard and a training course for assistants.
