Meeting colleagues from the public sector

We met with non-governmental organizations from different parts of Ukraine that deal with people with disabilities, IDPs, and other vulnerable groups. We received guests as part of an exchange visit organized by the NGO Desyate kvitnia in cooperation with our partners, the CA League of the Strong.

Our specialists shared their experience in the rehabilitation of people with mental disorders. Konstantin Zelenov, a member of the Psychability Board and a psychiatrist of the highest category, spoke on the principles of psychiatric rehabilitation that have been applied at the Center for Medical and Social Rehabilitation of the municipal non-profit enterprise Psychiatry Clinical Hospital in Kyiv for 25 years. Thanks to these principles, dozens of lives have been saved.

The guests noted the practicality of the meeting and once again emphasized that such a vulnerable group as people with mental disorders needs more attention from society and the state. The guests also received gifts from us, made personally by people with mental disorders.
