Meeting with Benefactors

At the end of 2025, the team of the NGO "Psychability" met with Yevhenii Nikolaiev, a representative of our sponsor, the NGO "Zelenskyi's Ukrainian Strategy." This was an opportunity for us to wish them happy holidays and sincerely thank them for their support, which helps our organization thrive and grow.

The meeting took place in a warm, calm atmosphere. We discussed what we managed to achieve over the past year and the opportunities we see ahead.

In 2025, we continued our rehabilitation programs focusing on employment therapy for people with mental health conditions. We opened a School of Healthy Lifestyles and Mental Health Support for individuals with mental health conditions and their families, featuring lectures by dietitian Tetiana Shapovalova. We also revived our psychotherapy group and conducted two closed psychological support groups for relatives.

The Relatives' Support Group for people with mental health conditions remained an important part of our work. Throughout the year, we held many meaningful meetings with specialists, including human rights defender Larysa Tatarinova, methodologist of the Center for Social Services Larisa Ostrolutska, lecturer at the Department of Philosophy of Igor Sikorsky Kyiv Polytechnic Institute Yevheniia Panichevska, and narcologist Vitalii Shchurenko.

In October, we held a briefing at the Media Center Ukraine for Mental Health Day, focusing on the experience of our self-help group. Throughout the year, we participated in events organized by Public Broadcasting, Caritas Kyiv Charitable Foundation, and also in events involving Lesia Petrivska, the Commissioner of the Kyiv City Council for Persons with Disabilities, for the International Day of Persons with Disabilities. We resumed a working dialogue regarding the social service "Personal Assistant for a Person with a Mental Health Condition" with Maryna Poroshenko, head of the Permanent Commission of the Kyiv City Council for Health, Family and Social Policy.
