Meeting with Larysa Tatarinova, human rights activist, on topic "Violation of the rights of a person with a mental disorder - first steps to protection"

In our Meeting Club for relatives and legal representatives of people with mental disorders, a sincere conversation about rights took place. Larysa Tatarinova, a human rights activist, moderated the meeting.

We discussed important issues, including access to quality treatment and medicines, sanatorium rehabilitation, education, and disability registration. We separately touched on the difficult topic of employment of people with mental disorders. All these problems can be solved with the help of the social service "Assistant to a person with a mental disorder", on the creation of which we are currently working, and need support from the Kyiv city authorities.

Mrs. Tatarinova shared the algorithm of actions in case of rights violation and gave practical advice on how to apply it. She also invited all participants to the Kyiv City Festival of Creativity "Let's Believe in Ourselves" ✨
