Participation in the Forum “Human Resilience = System Resilience”

On November 28, 2024, members of the Board of Directors Lidia Martynova and Konstantin Zelenov took part in the third day of the Forum “Human Resilience = System Resilience”, which was dedicated to the Marketplace. Participants had the opportunity to get to know each other and learn about the activities of organizations that provide services for such a vulnerable category of the population as “people in difficult life circumstances”.

We presented our activities with booklets about our NGO, the results of the study, the “Assistant to a Person with a Mental Disorder” service, and “Success Stories Using the Prototype of the ‘Assistant to a Person with a Mental Disorder’ Service. People came up to us and asked about the Assistant service. And every time we heard the following phrase: “You are doing a very important thing. We are waiting for such a service!”.

Unfortunately, there are very few organizations like ours in the service market, and those that do exist are engaged in helping children and IDPs and consider such assistance as care and support. That is why we have to go further and find an understanding with the members of the Kyiv City Council's Committee on Health, Family and Social Policy!

Well, that's the cherry on top!) We stood at the Kyiv city stand, which displayed statistics on mental health services in the city. So, the number of appeals for such services in Kyiv is 151187, and our study is based on the figure of 156107. And this once again confirms the validity of the findings of our study!
