Special Fair "Charity Kids Fest"

The first day of the summer, creative members of the NGO "Psychabilities" held a special fair "Charity Kids Fest" organized by the charitable public organization "Ukrainian Social Defense". He was staying in Kiev in the Pyramid shopping center in Pozniaky.

That day the rain and the hot sun alternated one after another. According to the fair participants, the weather suggested bipolar disorder, which is familiar to some clients of the medical and social rehabilitation department of the polyclinic of the KNP CL Psychiatry, but do not be surprised at this, the participants of the exhibition stood up, presenting the creativity of talented craftsmen and craftsmen, people with mental disorders. Among the handmade products were presented: hand-painted shovelers, braided ornaments in the style of ankara and frivolity, knitted stoles, brooches, poppies, products from porcelain of a long-established workshop, and more...

“We have something to write about, because each work is a unique creation of art, which competes to the market of hand-made products. Every creation is created from inspiration and love and is unique, so it is created by people with their unique acceptance of the World. Sometimes the disease complicates the process of making the product, and sometimes this process becomes healing... Then from the hands of the master and masters comes a miraculous potion that inspires, heals and enchants.

We hope to continue working together at charity fairs, come and support people with mental disorders. Besides being rich, it is also a way to earn money for your living, which is important in our society. To be financially independent should not be a dream, but a real possibility for such people. To be seen and understood, to simply be people first and foremost... because these very criteria form the basis for the rehabilitation of people with mental disorders. And each of them dreams of his Helper, the same one about whom an information campaign is currently underway in Kiev in the form of interviews with people with mental disorders. “Also join us for training and let’s support each other on this life’s journey.”
