Visiting Suspilne

We participated in the meeting “Public Broadcasting: Simply About the Complicated”, organized by colleagues from Ukrainian Public Broadcasting Suspilne.

Thank you for the invitation and for the open, honest dialogue on how to make media more accessible to people with mental and cognitive disabilities. The topic is extremely important, and it is nice to see how many organizations are working in this direction. It was valuable to meet colleagues from other NGOs and hear different perspectives - together we can make the environment more inclusive and understandable.

We discussed which formats are perceived most conveniently, what barriers arise in content consumption, and what media can change right now to be closer to their audiences.

At the end, we were given a short tour of the underground office-shelter - an interesting experience and another touch to how Suspilne takes care of its guests and team.
